The operating room uses mobile C-arm X-ray machine (hereinafter referred to as C-arm machine) to cooperate in carrying out various specialized surgeries, which is characterized by accurate positioning, simplified intermediate links, and shortened operation time. It not only ensures the treatment quality of surgery, but also increases perioperative safety, so the use of C-arm machines in the operating room is becoming more and more popular.
C-arm machine is the abbreviation of mobile C-arm X-ray machine, which is widely used in the operating room for its convenience and safety. As for the question of who should operate the C-arm machine in the operating room, although conceptually we have basically formed a consensus that it is the most reasonable practice to set up a radiographer position for the C-arm machine in the operating room, which should be operated by a professional who holds a radiographer's qualification certificate. However, for various reasons, some hospitals have not yet implemented this.
Initially, there was no fixed professional operator for the C-arm machine in the operating room of the hospital, but with the year-on-year increase in the number of surgeries and the consequent increase in the demand for intraoperative fluoroscopy, there was an increasingly urgent need for a professional operator for the C-arm machine in the operating room.In 2013, the hospital began to set up a radiographer position for the C-arm machine in the operating room.
Since the establishment of the radiographer position four years ago, the effect is obvious: the waiting time for intraoperative radiographs has been shortened from 30min-60min to 1min-5min, and the accuracy of radiograph positioning has been increased, which promotes the prognosis of patients. The incidence of repair also decreased from 0.77% to 0.29%.
Through several years of practice, our operating room has also accumulated some experience in the post management of C-arm radiographers.
