In the process of examining and treating patients, doctors need to use ultrasound equipment to determine whether the lungs are infected with viruses. Especially in the ICU intensive care process, doctors cannot use stethoscopes, they can use ultrasound equipment to monitor the patient's cardiopulmonary function. In order to protect ultrasound physicians from infection and the safety of equipment use, effective protection of physicians and sterilization and isolation of the examination site and equipment is also particularly important.
For the disinfection of ultrasound clinic environment and ultrasound equipment, the following recommendations are also available.
1, in accordance with the "Hospital Air Purification Management Code", strengthen the ventilation of the treatment environment, medical institutions that have the conditions can be air disinfection, but also equipped with circulating air disinfection equipment.
2. Strictly implement the "Technical Specification for Disinfection in Medical Institutions" to clean and disinfect the treatment environment, medical equipment, and patient supplies-
(1) Treatment environment: (air, object surfaces, ground, etc.) can be disinfected with ultraviolet light and ozone.
(2) Ultrasound and computer equipment: 400 mg/L to 700 mg/L effective chlorine disinfectant or 1000 mg/L to 2000 mg/L quaternary ammonium disinfectant can be used to wipe and maintain for 30 minutes.
(3) Probe disinfection: The probe will come into contact with the patient's skin during the monitoring process, so it is recommended to use a special probe protection cover and replace it in time after the completion of the sweep to prevent cross-infection. Regularly rinse the probe under the faucet every day (probe facing down, cable wiring on top to avoid water) and wipe with soapy water with soft flannel; use soft cloth or paper to wipe the ultrasound probe between patients to keep it clean.
