4. Specimen fixative should be uniformly prepared by the hospital pharmacy or purchased from qualified products.

5. Surgical nurses should choose the appropriate container (cups, bowls) loaded with pathological specimens on the operating table, the table at the same time there are more than one specimen, can be used by the sterilization of the specimen bag numbered placed separately to avoid specimen confusion. 7. 8. According to the size of the surgical pathology specimen, the surgical nurse should be equipped with the appropriate amount of specimen fixative, and the routine specimen fixative is 10% formalin solution, and the amount of fixative should be not less than 3-5 times of the volume of the tissue (to make sure that the specimen is all placed in the fixative), except for the special requirements.

9. The same patient has more than one surgical pathology specimen, should be based on the surgeon's requirements for delivery of multiple specimen bags and good antiseptic fixation. 10. 12.
