Putting on the sterile surgical gown: choose a spacious place, face the sterile table, hold the collar, shake it open and check the integrity of the surgical gown; put both hands and forearms into the sleeves in sequence; the visiting nurse grabs the inner side of the collar behind the wearer, assists in pulling the cuffs back and fastens the collar tie and back tie, and then grabs the hem of the gown and pulls it downward to smooth it out;
Non-contact gloving: When wearing a sterile gown, keep both hands out of the cuff, open the inner package of gloves, take the glove across the sleeve and place it on the palmar side of the same side, with the end of the fingers facing the forearm and the thumbs opposite each other, the reflexed edge is flush with the cuff, and the glove is grasped across the sleeve by the edge of the glove and turned over to wrap around the hand and the cuff. Repeat the same method for the other side of the glove;
After putting on the gloves, untie the loose knot at the waist, take care to avoid contamination of the belt by sagging, hand the right lobe of the belt to the traveling nurse, who will pick it up with sterile forceps, rotate it, and then fasten the belt handed back by the traveling nurse with the other side of the belt;
Assisting in the method of putting on sterile gloves: the assisting person holds the glove open, the hand being worn is inserted directly into the glove, and the same method is repeated for the other side of the glove;
Removing the sterile gown: undoing the loose knot at the waist, the traveling nurse undoes the dorsal tie, removes the gown by grasping the collar and placing it in the dressing trolley in a smooth manner;
Take off the sterile gloves: use the gloved hand to grasp the outer side of the glove of the other hand to turn and remove, use the hand that has been removed to reach into the inner side of the other glove to turn and remove, take care that the clean hand is not contaminated by the outside of the glove;
Clean hands after the operation or disinfect hands with rapid hand disinfectant according to the seven-step washing method;
Precautions
1, in the whole process hands should be kept in front of the chest and above the elbow, keep the hand tip facing up, so that the water flows from the fingertips to the elbow, to avoid backflow.
2、The skin of the hands should be intact and unbroken.
3. Avoid splashing wet clothes when rinsing hands.
4、Wearing surgical gowns must be done in the appropriate operating room.
5、The sterile surgical gown must not touch the non-sterile area, and replace it immediately if it is contaminated.
6. When the traveling nurse pulls back the collar, the outside of the surgical gown must not be touched.
7、When wearing sterile gloves without contact, pull the sleeve without excessive force, the cuff can be pulled to the thumb joint.
8. Both hands should not be exposed outside the sleeve at all times, and all operating hands should be inside the sleeve.
9, when wearing gloves, will be folded edge of the glove mouth turned over wrapped cuff, not the bare wrist.
10, infection, orthopedic surgery when the operating personnel should wear double gloves.
11, wearing sterile surgical gowns personnel must wear gloves before untying the waist knot or pick up the belt, ungloved hands may not pull the sleeve or touch other parts.
12. After removing gloves, they should wash their hands cleanly.
