Material Development History
1、Late 19th century
Due to frequent infections in patients, medical personnel were advised to wear sterilized clothing for surgical operations to prevent the spread of pathogenic bacteria among the population.

2、1940s
Surgical gowns and sheets became popular. The initial surgical gowns were generally made of cotton materials with loose structure and easy permeability. Cotton materials were accepted by most users because of their looseness and breathability.

3、1960s
With the development of non-woven fabrics, a new type of surgical gown was promoted - disposable surgical gowns, which had good barrier and breathability as well as the strength of the material, and were thus favored by many health care workers.

4、1980s
As the "HIV virus" spread around the world, the market share of disposable gowns gradually expanded, and hospitals urgently needed a new type of reusable surgical gown that was economically sustainable and made of high-strength material.
