First, why discuss this issue?

2, storage, use of expired and other quality of unqualified disposable supplies is the bottom line of the management of medical institutions.
3, storage, the use of expired and other substandard supplies cost too much, with the current market supervision bureau, health bureau and other management efforts to increase, check out the expiration date of the goods can easily be tens of thousands of dollars in fines.

Second, the commonly used clinical disposable supplies, divided into sterile items and clean items, all categorized as medical device management.
1, sterile items such as syringes, infusion sets, oxygen tubes, sputum tubes, uterine balloon, etc., the packaging of these items are marked above the words sterilized by xxxxx (the most common is sterilized by ethylene oxide).

Third, the management of disposable consumables in the department often exists problems:
1、The storage of sterile goods is not reasonable, and the sterile cabinet, sterile goods shelf and sterile goods storage box in the department are not enough, and they are directly put on the ground.
2、Sterile articles are mixed with non-sterile articles, and sterile articles are mixed with office supplies.
3、One-time sterile articles are expired.
4、Disposable articles are sterilized repeatedly.
5、Disposable items are used repeatedly.
6、The disposable articles are not checked regularly, and unqualified aseptic articles, such as expired articles and broken packages, will appear in the higher level's spot check.

Third, disposable consumables management countermeasures
(1), disposable consumables storage management requirements:
1、Disposable consumables storage room is clean and dry, the products are stored on the shelves according to the successive order of the expiration date, and the sterile goods storage rack or cabinet should be ≧ 20cm from the ground, ≧ 5cm from the wall, and ≧ 50cm from the ceiling.
2, storage of surgical, delivery room and other restricted areas of the sterile goods room, sterile goods cabinet of sterile goods should be removed from the outer packaging, sterile goods and non-sterile clean goods are stored separately, sub-cabinet, sub-shelf storage, at least sub-layer storage.
3、The temperature in the sterile goods storage room is <24℃ and the humidity is <70%.
4, because of the department of sterile goods room, sterile goods cabinet, sterile goods box and other conditions, should be according to the product according to the expiration date of the successive order of the first disposable sterile goods into the cabinet, clearly marked, do not let the office supplies and other non-sterile goods occupied.
5、The variety and quantity of disposable articles should be reasonably configured according to the clinical needs and request cycle.
6, regular inspection of disposable items, the establishment of departmental disposable consumables catalog, at least 1 monthly inspection should be checked one by one to check the quality of the items and expiration date, it is best to implement the implementation of the two people check twice, the departmental quality control team and then random checks.
7, single warehouse management of disposable items, fast use of supplementary items should be placed in the outermost layer of the remaining items as soon as possible to avoid long-term pressure warehouse bottom expiration date.
8, the introduction of a double warehouse management method, there has been a tertiary hospital under the leadership of the President of the department of supplies to implement double warehouse management, suppliers direct regular delivery to the department, the direct elimination of the hospital's warehouse, saving a lot of manpower and material resources. 4, the use of products in the event of adverse reactions, should immediately stop using, sealing, retaining the relevant specimens for testing, should immediately report to the relevant departments of the hospital, and within 24h to report to the FDA and health administrative departments.
5、Processing after use: it should be processed according to the requirements of "Medical Waste Management Regulations".
