What's the difference between PP and PE?
1970-01-01

1. PE is a thermoplastic resin made of ethylene by polymerization.

2. polypropylene referred to as PP, is made of propylene polymer made of a thermoplastic resin.

3. PP has three configurations of isotactic, random, and interisotactic, and industrial products are mainly composed of isotactic.

4. Both PP and PE are saturated hydrocarbons. They are similar in many respects but differ in some important properties

5. PP has better rigidity, strength, and heat resistance than PE, PE is easy to be photooxidation, thermal oxidation, ozone decomposition.

6. the density of PP is smaller than that of PE, and the toughness of PP is poor at low temperatures.
