What are the precautions for surgical drape?

(1) Before laying the towel, the incision site should be determined. After laying out 4 treatment towels, fix them with towel tongs to prevent them from sliding down.

(2) After the sterile towel is laid down, it should not be moved at will. If the position is not accurate, it can only be moved outward from the operating area, but not inward (so as not to contaminate the operating area).

(3) The sterilized arm should not touch the sterilized dressing near the surgical area. When spreading the drape, both hands should only touch the corners of the surgical drape.

(4) The sterile sheets around the surgical field and on the tray are 4 to 6 layers, and there are more than two layers outside the surgical field.

(5) The head end of the sterile sheet should cover the anesthesia rack, and the sides and tail should sag 30cm beyond the edge of the operating table.

(6) The opened sterile sheet and the treatment towel should not be brought into contact with the lower edge of the sterile garment below the waist level and other items with bacteria. If the sterile sheet is spread, it should be replaced if it is contaminated.

(7) No surgical gown or gloves should be worn for the first layer of sterile sheet.

(8) After spreading the first layer of sterile sheet, the spreader should soak the arm with 70% alcohol for 3 minutes or wipe the arm with disinfectant, wear sterile clothes, and wear sterile gloves before spreading other sterile layers. Single.

(9) Do not use towel tweezers to fix the outermost layer of sterile sheet or fix skin tubes, electrocautery lines, etc., to prevent contamination caused by the movement of the tweezers, and can be fixed with tissue forceps.
