1.Scalpel
There are knife handle and different shapes and sizes of blades. The blade should be installed with vascular forceps or needle holding forceps grip to avoid cutting fingers. There are various ways to hold the knife, grasping type: for larger incisions; executive bowing type: for general incisions; executive pen type: for dissection and small incisions; jumping up type: for superficial abscess incision.
2.Surgical scissors
There are curved and straight; blunt-headed and pointed. Long blunt-headed curved scissors, mostly used for deep surgery of the thoracic and abdominal cavity. Pointed straight shears are generally used to cut lines and shallow tissue dissection. General surgical scissors should not be used to cut lines or dressings, otherwise, easy to become blunt.
3.surgical forceps
Used to hold the tissue, has facilitated dissection and suturing. There are different lengths. The tip of the forceps is divided into tooth and toothless (flat forceps).
4.Vascular forceps
Vascular forceps are different in structure, mainly in the alveolar bed. Due to the needs of the surgical operation, the tooth groove bed is divided into straight, curved, right angle, curved, etc.. The vascular forceps used for vascular surgery, the teeth of the groove is thinner, shallower, better elasticity, the compression effect on the tissue and the damage to the vessel wall and its lining is also lighter, called non-invasive vascular forceps. Commonly used vascular clamp tip is flat.
5.Suture needle
Divided into straight and curved needles; round and triangular needles. The front half of the triangular needle is trigonous, sharper and used to suture tough tissues such as skin, cartilage and ligaments, with greater damage.
6.Needle holding pliers
Used for holding suture needle suture tissue, suture needle should be clamped in close to the tip of the needle-holding forceps, if clamped in the middle of the tooth groove bed, it is easy to break the needle.
7.Tissue forceps
The pressure on the tissue is lighter than the vascular forceps, generally used to hold soft tissue, less likely to slip off.
8.Towel clamp
Used to fix sterile towels.
9.Pull hook
According to the need, there are various types. When using the hook, the hook should be separated from the tissue by a gauze pad; there are different types according to the need.
10.Action head
The commonly used single tube suction head is used to remove blood and fluid in the chest and abdominal cavity of the surgical field. The casing suction head is mainly used to remove the fluid in the abdominal cavity, and its outer casing has multiple side holes, which can avoid the large omentum, intestinal wall, etc. being sucked to block the suction head.
