Cast film is a non-stretched, non-oriented flat extrusion film produced by melt casting and quenching.
The plastic film prepared by the casting method first passes through an extruder to plasticize and melt the raw materials. It is extruded through a T-shaped structure forming die and cast into a sheet-like shape on the surface of a smoothly rotating cooling roller. The film is cooled and shaped on the cooling roller, and then the product is wound up after traction and edge trimming. Including PE cast film (CPE)-divided into LLDPE, LDPE, HDPE cast film; PET cast film; PVC cast film; PP cast film (CPP); EVA cast film; CPET cast film; PVB Glass sandwich film, etc.
There are two types of cast film: extruded melt cast film and solvent cast film .
(一)Cast coating method
The cast coating method is a kind of extruded melt cast film. Its basic principle is to inject the adhesive through the pressure in the cavity of the coating head. The top of the coating head is an adjustable slit. With the running of the bottom paper, the adhesive will evenly flow out from the slits of the coating head and be coated on the surface of the bottom paper.
(二)Solvent cast film
The cast film produced by the solvent method needs to use a large amount of organic solvents, heating to volatilize the solvent to remove and recover the solvent requires a lot of energy, and also requires investment in a set of equipment. The operating cost and equipment cost are relatively large. Only a few such as cellophane cannot Or it is difficult to use the solvent method to produce the film produced by the extrusion method.
