Gowning, sterile gloves, knot tying
Please complete putting on the surgical gown (traditional foliate gown) and wearing sterile gloves; complete the manual knot tying on the knot tying machine: one square knot and one triple knot on the electronic knot tying machine weight, and one square knot in the deep knot tying machine 20 gauge barrel.
I. Put on surgical gown.
Wash hands, put on cap and mask. Brush hands.
Keep the state after brushing hands, pay attention to the hair should not be scattered outside the cap, nails should not be too long, hands should not be higher than shoulder and lower than waist, keep a certain distance from the body, not to stick to the body.
Take the surgical gown, directly grab the surgical gown with one hand, fingers do not touch the clothes below, grab it and step backward to the open space, grasp it tightly in your hand and shake it gently away.
Squeeze the collar with both hands and unfold it, with the inner side facing you, taking care not to touch the outer side of the surgical gown and not to be too high or too low.
Shake the garment gently and extend both hands forward so that both hands and wrists are snapped into the sleeves and both arms are straightened forward, not spread too wide or too high.
Ask an assistant to assist with the lacing.
Lean forward slightly, cross your hands and lift the left and right belts slightly backwards, paying attention to the fact that the hands cannot exceed the anterior axillary line backwards and cannot touch the outer side of the surgical gown. The hands should be at the right height, not higher than the shoulders and lower than the waist.
Second, wear gloves.
Choose the right size glove, open it, pick up the glove reflex part, do not touch the outside of the glove, and identify the left and right hands.
Wear the first glove, pay attention to the hand can not be too high or too low, not wearing a glove hand can not touch the outside of the glove. With the second glove, the gloved hand should not touch the ungloved hand or the inner surface of the other glove. Wrap the cuff in the glove, taking care not to touch the inside of the glove.
(Follow the above procedure when wearing a foliate surgical gown. When wearing a back-wrapped surgical gown, a second knot must be tied after wearing gloves: after wearing sterile gloves, untie the belt and hand the belt to the traveling nurse, who holds the belt with sterile holding pliers, and the operator wraps around for a week so that the surgical gown wraps around his or her back, and finally ties the waist tightly.)
Third, one-handed knotting.
When tying the knot, pay attention to the crossed hands, even and consistent force, the correct direction of the drawing line, and three points of a line when tightening.
The square knot is a positive knot and a negative knot. Triple knot is a positive knot, a reverse knot and a positive knot.
When tying the knot in the deep knotter, be careful to let one finger reach under the line knot each time you tighten it, so that the knotter is not lifted when the three points are in line.
