I. Putting on surgical gowns
(1) Traditional folio-type surgical gown donning method
①Take the surgical gown and open the gown by holding the collar with both hands in a spacious place. Hold the corners of the collar with both hands, and place the sleeves forward;
② upward gently throw the surgical gown, the trend will be inserted into the sleeve with both hands, two arms parallel to the front, the fingers do not show the cuffs, can not be raised above the shoulder;
(iii) The roving nurse grabs the inside of the collar behind the wearer, assists in pulling the cuffs, and ties the back of the collar;
④The person who has put on the surgical gown and sterile gloves crosses his/her hands, leans forward slightly, and holds the belt with his/her fingers and passes it to the back, which is then picked up and fastened by the roving nurse;
⑤ After putting on the sterile surgical gown, the hands should be kept above the waist, below the shoulders and between the anterior axillary lines on both sides.
(2) Wearing of back-covered (back-wrapped) surgical gowns
①Take the surgical gown, hold the collar with both hands in a spacious place and open the surgical gown, hold the two corners of the collar with both hands, and place the sleeves forward;
② gently thrown upward surgical gown, hands into the sleeve, two arms forward, hands do not reveal the cuffs, not raised above the shoulder, not to the left and right side of the spread, so as not to touch the non-sterile items caused by contamination;
(iii) The traveling nurse grasps the inner face of the collar behind the wearer and ties the back strap of the collar, and at the same time ties a pair of straps between the back of the left lobe and the right armpit;
④ The gowner wears sterile gloves;
⑤ Undo the knot at the waist, hand the right belt to the operating staff on the table or have the traveling nurse hold the belt with sterile holding forceps around the wearer for one week and then hand it to the wearer to fasten it at the waist by himself/herself.

Putting on sterile gloves
The procedure of wearing sterile gloves is to put on the surgical gown first and then gloves, and the methods are divided into two types: contactless and open.
(1) Contactless gloving
①Wear sterile surgical gowns without extending the cuffs of both hands, in the cuffs of the sterile gloves package open flat on the sterile table;
② left hand through the clothes to take the left hand glove placed on the palm side of the left hand, the finger end toward the forearm, the reverse folded edge of the cuff and cuff flush, the thumb of the glove and the left hand inside the cuff thumb square, the left hand across the sleeve to catch the edge of the glove, the right hand across the sleeve will be the edge of the glove reversed to the back of the left hand wrapped hand and cuff. With the right hand, pull the left sleeve proximally to the center of the sleeve, and pull the cuff up to the thumb joint. Wear the right glove in the same way.
(2) Open gloves
① Lift the glove bag, pinch the mouth of the glove to the outside of the folded part (i.e., the inside of the glove), remove the glove, and distinguish between the left and right sides;

② left hand pinch and reveal the right side of the glove mouth, insert the right hand into the glove, put on the glove, pay attention to the ungloved hand can not touch the outside of the glove (sterile surface);
(iii) Insert the fingers of the gloved right hand into the inner surface of the left glove opening (i.e., the outside of the glove) to help the left hand insert the glove and put it on;
(iv) Turn back the folded part of the left and right gloves respectively and cover the cuff of the surgical gown, noting that the gloved hand can only touch the outside of the glove (the sterile side).

Removing the gown and gloves
1. Take off the surgical gown. Grasp the right shoulder of the surgical gown with the left hand and pull it down to turn the sleeve outward; pull down the left shoulder of the surgical gown with the same method and take off the surgical gown, so that the inside of the gown is turned outward to protect the arm and hand-washing pants and pants from being contaminated by the outside of the surgical gown.
2. Take off the glove with the gloved hand to grasp the outside of the glove of the other hand, turn it over and take it off; use the thumb of the glove that has been taken off to reach into the inside of the other glove and turn it over and take it off. Be careful not to touch the outside of the glove with both hands.
