1. Establish a sterile area. All items in the sterile area must be sterilized. If there is any doubt, replace them immediately. If the article has the following conditions, it should be considered as germ and cannot be used in the aseptic area: ① sterile dressing in the non-restricted area; ② the aseptic package is damaged or wet; ③ the aseptic package has fallen to the ground; The effective time and effect of the bacteria are not certain; ⑤ It is suspected that the germ is contaminated.
Sterile areas should be established as close to the time of use as possible to reduce the chance of exposure and contamination.
2. Application of sterile surgical gown The sterile range of sterile surgical gown is limited to the front shoulder plane, the waist plane and the sleeve. The other parts should be considered as bacterial areas. After wearing the surgical gown, the forearm should not sag and should stay above the waist plane. The hands should not be close to the face or cross and under the armpits. The elbows should be retracted and close to the body. Because surgical gowns are considered to be germ below the waist plane, they should not touch sterile tables and paved operating tables. Surgical personnel standing against a wall or sitting in an unsterilized place are against the principle of sterility. Nor should you walk around or out of the operating room. If you need to move due to surgery, you should face the sterile area. When changing positions with another surgeon, take a step back, turn around, and turn back to back to another position. In the presence of people wearing surgical gowns, they should keep away from each other to avoid collision pollution.
3. Use sterile bags or containers properly. The edges of any sterile bag and container should be considered as bacteria. When opening the bag, the four corners of the cloth should be turned over and held by hands to prevent it from slipping off and contaminating the contents. Take care not to touch the edges when handling sterile materials. When using the cloth to spread the sterile area, the inner surface of the cloth is sterile, and the outer and edges of the cloth are bacteria. If you take a certain sterile material in the aseptic package and the remaining sterile material must still be sterile, you can pack it as the original package, but you must use the sterile material in this package within 4 hours, otherwise you must re-sterilize .
