01、Features of da Vinci Surgical Robot
The da Vinci Surgical Robot can simulate various operations of human hands. The jointed axes of the instruments can rotate 360° along the vertical axis and 270° along the horizontal axis, which has the advantages of high flexibility, safety, high efficiency and low limitations. Three-dimensional vision can be enlarged 20 times, helping doctors in high-definition micro-vision can be more accurate anatomy, so that trauma is reduced, blood loss is reduced, the patient's post-operative recovery is fast, good healing, and is now widely used in the field of surgery.

The da Vinci robotic surgical instruments are precise and expensive, with complex structure, unevenness of the joint ends of the instruments, and many crevices are prone to tissue, blood, stains and other residues. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the standardised management of da Vinci hand instruments, through the standardised operating procedures, so that the cleaning, disinfection, packaging, sterilisation of all aspects of quality control has been strengthened, providing a strong guarantee for medical quality and safety.

02, da Vinci robotic instruments introduction
The da Vinci robotic surgical system consists of 3 parts: physician operation control system, bedside robotic arm system, and stereoscopic imaging system, as shown in the figure.

The robotic related instruments recycled and disposed of by the Sterilisation and Supply Centre include.
1. da Vinci robotic lens;
2. da Vinci robot arm: including robot-specific bipolar electrocoagulation single-hole long grasping forceps, non-invasive single-hole pericardial grasping forceps, single-hole elbow bipolar electrocoagulation forceps, thermal scissors (unipolar electrocoagulation scissors);
3. 20 pieces of robotic luminal instruments: including robot-specific needle holder, converter, suction, electrocoagulation hook, pneumoperitoneum needle, steel ruler, gallbladder grasping forceps, curved separation forceps, non-invasive forceps, curved separation scissors and straight separation scissors;
4. auxiliary instruments: including moisture-resistant instruments such as puncture sheaths, puncture apparatus, lens adapters and ultrasonic knives, and non-moisture-resistant instruments such as PK cables, bifurcated fibre-optic cables and electrocoagulation wires.

Recycling
After the operating theatre has finished using the da Vinci robotic surgical instruments, spray the hand end of the surgical instrument arm with the instrument pre-soaked moisturising gel and notify the Sterilisation and Supply Centre staff to recover them as soon as possible.
The recovery nurse will hand over the instruments to the operating theatre personnel face to face, count and check the number of instruments, specifications, performance and completeness; the clarity of the goggles and whether the accessories are complete, after checking whether there is no error, sign the instrument count book together, and communicate with them in a timely manner if any problem is found.
Surgical instruments are placed in the instrument basket and goggles are placed in the mirror box, and the delivery process is pressure-proof, touch-proof and drop-proof.
